This is a 10-story mixed-use building that raises the bar on senior living facilities, with its decorative style, wide functionality, and luxurious living spaces. It offers varying levels of assisted living and memory care services, with some retail and office space. Other amenities included are outdoor plazas, two fitness centers, a theater room, salon, dining rooms, and a 4 level attached parking garage.
The Athlete’s Village consists of 21 new low-rise apartment buildings and the renovation of many historic buildings. It was built to house the expanding student population at the University of Utah, and the Olympic athletes during the 2002 Winter Olympics. The Village consists of seven neighborhoods: Officer’s Circle, the Guest House, Gateway Heights, Chapel Glen, Benchmark Plaza, Sage Point, and Shoreline Ridge. These apartments and dormitories house 2,400 more students after construction.
