Printed Energy is an innovative, emerging electronic manufacturing company. The company designs and implements new use cases for the roll-to-roll manufacturing of thin, flexible Zinc-ion batteries and RFID technologies. The ability to customize the printed battery shapes to maximize design integration, enabling batteries and data devices to be compatible in extensive circumstances – timed sport / race-timing bracelets, asset-tracking smart labels / tags, and 50V headbands capable of neural manipulation to name a few.

VBFA engineers, together with the client, worked to create a stable temperature / humidity controlled clean manufacturing environment. Site verification was critical to determine the ‘as-built’ conditions of the production areas and the condition of the HVAC and Electrical systems.  VBFA provided engineering design for the Four (4) room printing space in addition to the chemical storage and machine shop areas.
