About the Project
The St. George first station #8 serves the southwest region of St. George, and surrounding areas. VBFA provided the electrical engineering services for this St. George fire station. The station has four drive-through lanes for trucks and ambulances. It houses an 800 square-foot police station and a training area. There are living facilities for fire fighters, including showers, restrooms, laundry facilities, kitchen, gym, and administrative offices. The facility features a special equipment room, evaporative coolers, and an automatic carbon monoxide exhaust system.
