About Roman
Roman Buys began his mechanical engineering career at VBFA in 2009. He specializes in designing mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing systems, for buildings with an emphasis on sustainability and efficiency. Roman played a key role in designing Davis School District’s Farmington High School, the first Net-Zero high school in the state of Utah. He believes that buildings can be built to utilize low-energy technologies while still being reasonable to maintain and cost-effective. Roman loves the problem solving and puzzle solving aspect of Mechanical Engineering. He also likes to complete puzzles with his family. Roman is an avid mountain biker, golfer, and basketball player.
