About Andrew
What Andrew loves most about engineering is the opportunity to bring creative designs to life, whether they’re his own ideas or for others. He also enjoys the mental challenge of balancing practicality with creativity to find solutions. Andrew has passed the F.E. exam and while he hasn’t accumulated many projects yet, one of his favorites was working on the exterior lighting for the San Diego Temple. He utilized his expertise in 3D modeling to introduce 3dsMax into his department, enabling them to solve a particularly challenging lighting calculation for the project. Outside of VBFA, Andrew’s hobbies include creating board games with his wife. He develops the concepts and rules, while she contributes the artwork. Together, they’ve crafted 16 games, with 7 fully prototyped and complete. Additionally, Andrew has a passion for 3D modeling and CAD, often designing pieces for board games and various DIY projects.
