VBFA was responsible for the mechanical design of the 40,000 sq. ft. court, jail and sheriff’s facility. The project included new courtroom facilities (courtroom, judges’ offices, attorney offices and support areas). The facility also included new jail spaces (36 cells, booking, dispatch, dormitories, kitchen and dining areas.) A smoke control system was incorporated into the lockdown areas.
