This 130,000 sq. ft. facility includes research laboratories, animal holding areas, surgical procedures rooms and administration areas. The state-of-the-art biomedical research building combines the medical and electronic aspects of medical research.
The interior was fitted and styled with bio-safety hood units, emergency wash areas, medical gas, labs with movement sensitive equipment, electronic microscopes, technical testing areas, administrative offices, classrooms, and one inch thick acoustic wall panels.
The mechanical system serves labs with piped gases, pure water systems, fume hood exhaust systems, and acid waste piping systems. This building is designed on a modular approach basis which allows for easy modification of lab spaces to the ever changing research needs.
