VBFA completed the award-winning design for The Ice Arena at the Salt Lake Sports Complex that includes two 20,000 sq. ft enclosed ice rinks. These rinks are located in a new $10 million facility with seating for 2,000 spectators. VBFA provided the ice rink and ammonia refrigeration design, as well as the HVAC, plumbing, civil and fire protection designs for the project. The ice rinks include a state-of-the-art water purification system for use in the making of top quality ice.
