VBFA provided the mechanical and plumbing engineering for this new 74,000 square foot elementary school. The school focuses on science, math and aerospace and was designed with a space shuttle rising through the school called an Astro Camp.

Unique mechanical features and challenges include:

	The corridors had no ceilings, necessitating designing ductwork to complement the architectural aesthetics.
	The unusual shape of the space shuttle provided challenges in designing the ductwork.
	The building's walls and ceilings are unique in that they are not straight. The challenge was to design straight piping and ductwork to fit curved spaces.
