Located in Spanish Fork, Utah, MMHS will have a clear, easily understood floor plan that reflects the various learning opportunities available to the 1,600 students. It will also offer a high degree of security and comfort for both students and faculty. Principles of green building are to be employed freely in the facility; with day lighting combined with carefully balanced HVAC systems to help ensure low operations and maintenance cost. The comfort of the spaces will encourage learning as well as teaching. Common areas come in a variety of sizes, promoting social interaction and exchange. Gorgeous 360 degree views of nearby mountain peaks, including Maple Mountain, will be framed in many of the classrooms as well as the common areas of the building.
