VBFA was the prime consultant for the Fire Protection Upgrade project, including fire sprinklers and fire alarms and asbestos abatement. The building houses classrooms and faculty offices, and all of the building's main functions were maintained during construction. The building has 90,000 square feet and the total cost of the project was $560,000.
Davis County Correctional Facility Expansion
VBFA was responsible for the fire protection design for this 700,000 square foot addition that added 400 beds, a new kitchen, supporting structure, video visitation and security electronics interface to the existing 200-bed jail. The jail remained in full operation during the entire construction period. Project construction costs were $21.4 million with $275,000 in fire protection costs.

VBFA was responsible for the fire protection system design and construction management for this convention facility, which includes an exhibit hall, grand ballroom, and meeting rooms. The 281,000 square foot project had a budget of $50 million. |
