Van Boerum & Frank Associates, Inc. (VBFA), a respected consulting engineering firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with branch offices in St. George, and Logan, Utah and in Phoenix, Arizona, has an immediate opening for a CADD Professional. VBFA’s expanding Salt Lake City office employs more than 70, with a 13-person CADD Staff.

VBFA is responsible for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection designs for some of Utah’s most notable projects. VBFA enjoys an excellent reputation with clients including architects, owners, municipalities and institutions; with projects including those for institutions of higher education, healthcare, K-12 schools, sports and recreation, office buildings, and others.

Successful candidate will work closely with in-house engineering teams, and follow CADD Drafting production staff aiding in the overall production aspects of drawings from design development to construction document production and submittal of drawings or plans.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the production of new and modification of existing HVAC and plumbing and electrical drawings such as floor plans, elevations, sections, details, site plans based on hand drawings and verbal instructions. Responsibilities also include extensive responsibilities using AutoCAD or Building Systems or REVIT.

Experience with AutoCADD 2010 or higher
Ability and willingness to closely follow company CADD Standards
Ability to work closely with engineering staff and to understand and follow directions
Revit experience a plus!
